HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms are expected to start the week with severe storm chances increasing Monday night with heavy rainfall.

Possible severe weather lingers into Tuesday with additional showers and thunderstorms, including widespread rain Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service. Conditions begin to improve Wednesday with decreasing rain chances and cooler temperatures in the low 70s. Dry and milder weather returns Thursday, with only slight rain chances by Friday.
