Barbara Jean Thompson Moore, 96, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 11:19 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024 at her residence.
Private services will be held at a later date. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is assisting with the arrangements.
A native of Shelburn, IN she was born November 10, 1927 the daughter of the late William Henry Thompson and Cassie Williams Thompson. She had worked in the cafeteria at Lacy School. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Edward “Ed” Moore; her two sisters; and her brother.
Survivors include her daughter: Brenda Jean (Chris) McDonald of Kingston Springs, TN; her sons: Alan (Debby) Moore, Steven Moore, and David Moore all of Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren: Kent Gilliam, Davis (Tiffany) Moore, Mitchell (Griffin) Moore, Jordan McDonald, and Mayana Ward; and six great grandchildren.
