HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Before the Jan. 21 Hopkinsville City Council meeting, a special town hall will be held for community members.
Representative Jason Petrie will be the speaker during the Mayor’s Legislative Town Hall event. Petrie is the Chair of the Kentucky House Appropriations and Revenue Committe and will be discussing the Kentucky state budget and the state’s income tax cuts.
This event is a chance for people in the community to learn more about how these statewide topics may impact Hopkinsville. People attending will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the event.
The town hall is free and open to the public, and will be held at the Hopkinsville Municipal Center on Jan. 21 from 3 p.m. through 4:30 p.m. The city council meeting will follow at 6 p.m.
