CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A Clarksville man was killed in a fiery wreck Saturday evening on Interstate 24 near the rest area in Christian County.
At about 7:20 p.m., multiple witnesses saw a car driving erratically, veer off the interstate, try to pull back on and then lose control, crashing in an embankment, according to a Christian County Sheriff’s Office news release.

A passerby pulled the driver out and away from the car as it was beginning to catch fire. Deputies arrived to see the fully engulfed in flames. The driver died from his injuries at the scene.
The victim was 24-year-old Tyshawn Banks of Clarksville.
The investigation continues as deputies try to find out more about the circumstances surrounding the accident.
