CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man was killed during a car accident that occurred Friday afternoon in Christian County.
Nathan Stewart with Hopkinsville Fire/EMS told Christian County Now that a truck and an SUV were involved in the accident near the 4000 block of Pembroke Road around 3 p.m. Christian County Rescue and Pembroke Fire Department also arrived on the scene of the accident to assist, and assure the vehicles were fire safe.
An unidentified 89-year-old man driving the SUV was involved in the collision. According to Stewart, he was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with severe injuries and was undergoing CPR before being pronounced deceased.
The driver of the truck was uninjured.
