HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A single vehicle accident on I-24 westbound in Christian County has left a man dead. The accident occurred around the 89-mile marker around 4:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
The Hopkinsville Fire Department/EMS responded to the accident, disclosing that the Christian County Coroner was called after a man in his 40s died at the scene.
According to KYTC, both westbound lanes are shut down while the wreck is cleared. Traffic is permitted to pass on the shoulder, which may cause significant delays.
