HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Art Guild has gathered a string of local artists to be featured throughout the city during this Saturday’s Art Loop. The community has the opportunity to drive along a pre-mapped path on a free, self-guided tour through 14 locations in Christian County and view the work of over 40 artists.
Art demonstrations will be held throughout the day, with door prizes and some original artwork available for purchase. Among the talented, local artists there are those who specialize in oil painting, watercolor, sculpture, photography, woodworking, and more.
The first stop of the loop is off of Lovers Lane, branching out onto Cadiz Road, around the city to Madisonville Road, and ending at several stops in historic downtown Hopkinsville. These locations will be open on Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m.
