HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Christian County Literacy Council is looking for student spellers as they host their 5th Annual Spelling Bee in October. This growing competition is open to all Christian County students in third grade through eighth grade, including those in public, private, and homeschool programs.
The spelling bee gives local students the opportunity to showcase their academic skills and represent their schools in a communitywide competition. Students who want to participate must register by Sept. 30. Registration can be completed online by visiting this link.
The competition will be on Oct. 14 at Hillcrest Baptist Church at 6 p.m. in the church’s activity center at 920 Skyline Drive. For more information, contact the Christian County Literacy Council at cclc42240@gmail.com.
