HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Hopkinsville Fire/EMS responded to a wreck at the intersection of Elmo Road and Fort Campbell Boulevard on Oct. 29 around 4:30 p.m. that resulted in traffic delays and several injuries.
When on the scene of the accident, emergency crews assisted multiple patients, with one person trapped inside a vehicle. Two people were transported by EMS with serious injuries, and a male passenger was taken to Clarksville, Tennessee for treatment.
The driver, also an adult male, was heavily entrapped and required advanced medical interventions on-scene in efforts to save his life, according to HFD. He was transported to JSMC and eventually transported to a Nashville hospital. He remains in critical condition.
