CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man was severely injured in a car accident Monday morning on I-169 in Christian County.
Around 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 29, a Jeep hit the back of a semi-truck at the 23-mile marker of I-169, according to Payton Rogers with Hopkinsville Fire/EMS. A man in his 60’s who was driving the Jeep was found on the scene paralyzed from the waist down with severe injuries to his knee, chest trauma, and severe abdominal injuries along with altered mental status.
He was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville to be treated for his injuries. No other severe injuries were reported.
