HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Hopkinsville’s hometown hospital is celebrating the new year with some good news, by debuting the first baby who was born in 2026.
Baby girl Gianna Rae Calderon Hernandez was born on Jan. 1, 2026 at 2:19 a.m. at Jennie Stuart Health in Hopkinsville. She came into the world weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces at 44.5 centimeters long. Her proud parents are mother Olivia Jones and father Jonuel Calederon Hernandez.
Clay Ahart with JSH says that both the mother and baby are doing well after the birth.
