HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Just after midnight into Jan. 9, Hopkinsville Fire/EMS responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident involving two cars.
The head-on collision occurred around the 1000 block of Skyline Drive, directly in front of Hopkinsville Fire Station #2, according to HFD. One of the drivers, a 40-year-old woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Christian County Coroner.
The driver of the other vehicle did not report any injuries and refused medical treatment. Hopkinsville Police will continue to investigate the accident.
