HOPKINSVILLE, KY – On Thursday, Christian County High School Executive Principal Ken Carver announced three new sports head coaches for the new Christian County High School. Jeff Addison will lead Girls Soccer, Doug Hargrove will serve as Girls Golf Coach, and Jacob Fox has been named Boys Golf Coach. The district is continuing preparations for the opening of the new CCHS.
“We are excited to welcome these three outstanding coaches to our school community,” said Executive Principal Ken Carver. “Each brings a strong passion for developing students, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to build something special within our new combined high school. Their leadership will help shape not only successful athletic programs, but also a culture that supports the growth, character, and well-being of every student we serve. We look forward to the positive impact they will make on our school and in the lives of our students.”
Christian County Public Schools held a press conference on Thursday afternoon to welcome Addison, Hargrove, and Fox.

Jeff Addison- Girls Soccer Coach
A 1993 graduate of Hopkinsville High School, Coach Addison continued his soccer career at Brescia University before returning home in 1995 to serve as an assistant coach for the Lady Tigers.
He became head coach in 2003, leading the program from 2003–2020 and again from 2022–2025. During his tenure, Coach Addison has guided the Lady Tigers to 268 wins, 13 district championships, and 3 regional titles, building one of the region’s most respected girls’ soccer programs.
In addition to his high school success, he has spent more than 30 years growing the game of soccer in Hopkinsville, coaching at the middle school level and supporting local club development while mentoring countless young athletes.
Coach Addison and his wife, Sarah, reside in Hopkinsville and are the proud parents of three sons.
Doug Hargrove- Girls Golf Coach
Doug Hargrove will serve as the Head Coach for the Girls Golf program. A coaching veteran with over 19 years of experience in Christian and Trigg Counties, Coach Hargrove is a familiar face in regional athletics, currently leading the Hopkinsville Tiger Tennis program after having spent 12 years building the HHS volleyball program alongside his wife, Mindy.
He has also coached volleyball and golf in Trigg County. Doug is a 1982 alumni of Trigg County High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation from Murray State University. He is retired from the Kentucky Parks system and currently services as Community Liaison for Western State Hospital.

Jacob Fox- Boys Golf Coach
Jacob Fox has a deep passion for the game of golf and for developing young people and currently leads an indoor golf program designed to simplify and gamify the sport while maintaining a goal-oriented approach to athletic development and learning.
He is a PGA Associate and Youth Development Instructor. Jacob’s work is grounded in faith, family, and service. He is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, a husband, and the proud father of three boys. In addition to his role as an Operation 36 Lead Coach, he serves as Assistant Golf Professional at Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club and is a United States Army veteran.
Through golf, his focus is on development, interest, and sustainability while helping students grow in athleticism, confidence, and character while creating habits that lead to success both on the course and in life.
