HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – There are a variety of events spread throughout Christian County and Hopkinsville this weekend including a concert at the Alhambra Theater, police officers running the length of Christian County, a spring festival at Brushy Fork Creek Gallery and more.

Pancakes with the Crofton VFD

  • Where: Crofton Volunteer Fire Department

  • Details: Community pancake breakfast with opportunities to meet local firefighters, tour fire trucks and learn more about the department while eating pancakes, sausage and a drink.

Thin Blue Run: Honoring Their Stories, Protecting Their Tomorrows

  • Where: Founders Square in downtown Hopkinsville, Valor Hall in Oak Grove
  • When: April 18
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Police officers will run the length of Christian County with the public invited to meet them along the way. Community members can gather at Founders Square to cheer on participants and join a short walk, with food trucks and family-friendly activities planned. The finish line will be set up in Oak Grove at Valor Hall.

Book Signing: Autumn Kaufer

  • Where: Blush and Bashful Romance Bookshop
