HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A Freeze Warning has been issued tonight across Western Kentucky.

Sub-freezing temperatures of 24 degrees are expected, according to the National Weather Service. The warning is in effect from 9 p.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Tuesday.

“Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” the NWS said. This will also end the growing season.
