HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Country music emanated out of the sold-out Alhambra Theater and onto South Main Street Saturday night as Hopkinsville native Brice Long hosted a benefit concert to raise money for his nonprofit, the Back2Back Foundation.
Tony Arata, Deric Ruttan and Casey James joined Long for an acoustic performance, sharing stories from throughout their career and strumming together in what Long described as a “hell of a show.” A silent auction was held throughout the evening, and audience members were able to donate with all proceeds from the night going toward purchasing Christmas gifts to families in Christian, Trigg and Todd County this Christmas.

“It sure is cool to be from this place, I talk about home all the time wherever I’m at,” said Long ahead of the concert, also praising the Alhambra for hosting the concert over the years. “I’ve played all over the country y’all and I promise you, there’s not a better sounding seat than right there at the edge of this stage…what we’re truly lucky to have in Hopkinsville is this Alhambra Theater.”
The 2025 concert last year marked the 20th year of the benefit and was able to raise $115,617. This year’s Brice Long & Friends concert topped that, raising $121,676.
A full live stream of the concert can be found on the Back2Back Foundation Facebook page.
