HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The City of Crofton will get a visit from the Horse Whisperer on July 17, as a traveling group plans to stop by Gordon Park for food and a free presentation.
Horse trainer Paul Daily is the founder of Wild Horse Ministries and was given the title of “horse whisperer.” According to their website, Daily is able to calm, bridle, saddle and ride any horse within two hours, and can occasionally get them to totally submit by lying down. The presentations tie in this process with non-denominational ministry.
“As Daily works with the horse, he explains the Round Pen of Life to his audience, pointing out similarities between man’s relationship with God and a horse’s relationship with his trainer,” says the WHM website.
Since 1997, this this family and volunteer run nonprofit has been traveling around the region with presentations scheduled in states like Mississippi, Indiana, Louisiana, Texas and more. Before heading to Crofton, they will make stops at Cadiz and Murray nearby Christian County.
Food will be served at Gordon Park at 5 p.m. with the presentation starting at 6:30 p.m.
