HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Christian County Public Schools will be hosting their first ever Career Expo in January, and they are looking for businesses who are interested in attending.
They are seeking a variety of exhibitors who are willing to set up a booth, promote their business, and engage with students with a hands-on experience. This will allow students to further grasp the concepts of what a career in that particular field may look like. They suggest that businesses prepare a five-minute activity that can be presented to multiple students at a time.
The expo will be open to ninth-graders in Christian County, and around 700 students are expected to attend. The goal is to expose them to careers that will inspire their pathways or courses for the remainder of their high school experience.
Exhibitors who are interested can sign up until Nov. 15 here.
