HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Until Nov. 20, people can order a complete Thanksgiving feast from the chefs at The Bruce.
Sara Knowles, an account executive at The Bruce, said they were inspired to sell Thanksgiving meals based on the popularity of their Holiday Brunches, and the community’s love of their in-house chef’s cooking. Every recipe used to make the meals is a Chef Jack McGee original.
McGee is the mastermind behind all the food at The Bruce and is taking on this challenge with help from his staff of cooks. People can choose from many meal packages that can include homemade turkey, ham, a variety of delicious sides, and desserts.
“Doing the to go meals for Thanksgiving is a mix of providing a service to the community who are looking for a way to have a wonderful thanksgiving meal but might not have the time to do the cooking and a way to give our entire staff Thanksgiving off to be with their families,” Knowles said.
Right now, she estimates they will make and sell around 50 meals that will ultimately serve over 200 people. Anyone who wants to purchase a to-go Thanksgiving meal can do so on The Bruce Eventbrite website.
