CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY – On Sept. 25 at 5:45 pm deputies were called to the 9800 block of Lafayette Road for a wreck involving a horse pulling farming equipment.
A side-by-side was traveling southbound when it collided with a horse pulling a manure spreader that was also traveling southbound.
The driver and passenger in the side-by-side were injured, with the driver of the side-by-side suffering possible arm and chest injuries and the passenger having a possible leg injury. They were both taken to the hospital by Hopkinsville EMS.
The horse and the driver of the spreader were injured, with the driver not wanting to be taken to the hospital. The horse suffered two leg injuries.
