Hopkinsville, KY – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes are waiting to be adopted at the Christian County Animal Shelter. The shelter is at 2935 Russellville Road, and the phone number is 270-887-4175. Business hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and the shelter is closed for lunch from 12:30-1 p.m.
Boone is a handsome 1-year, 2-month-old Terrier Mix who is looking for his forever home! He was previously adopted from our shelter but was recently returned through no fault of his own after his new home was unable to keep him due to a landlord restriction.
Boone is already neutered, current on his rabies vaccine, and up to date on his other vaccines, flea/tick treatment, and dewormer, so he is ready to head home!
We are still learning more about Boone, so his compatibility with other dogs, cats, and children is currently unknown. We encourage adopters with other dogs to bring them in for a meet-and-greet to help make sure everyone is a good fit.
Boone is not fully house-trained or crate-trained yet, so he will need an adopter who is willing to continue working with him and give him the time and patience he needs to succeed. Adoption Fee: $50 + tax.
Come meet Boone and see if he could be the perfect addition to your family!
Sonny is a sweet 6-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who is hoping to find his forever family!
Sonny came to us as a stray from Todd County and, sadly, was never reclaimed. Despite his unknown past, Sonny is a sweet boy who is ready for a fresh start and a family to call his own.
We are currently unsure how Sonny does with other dogs, cats, or children, but you are more than welcome to bring your dog and children in to meet him! We’d love to help see if Sonny is the right match for your family.
Sonny has received his first round of vaccines, flea and tick treatment, and dewormer, and he is already NEUTERED! Adoption Fee: $50 + tax.
If you’re looking for a sweet boy who deserves a second chance and a loving forever home, come meet Sonny.
