Description

There aren’t many effective and affordable ways to learn piano. Classes are expensive, and videos can’t correct your hand placement. flowkey is a new middle ground. This app listens as you play and provides real-time feedback, and a 5-year subscription is only $59.97 (reg. $899).

As you play a digital piano or keyboard, flowkey listens and gives feedback in real time. Wait Mode holds the song until you hit the correct notes, so you can move at your own speed.

Each song shows a pianist’s hands on video next to synced sheet music. You can slow a hard passage down, repeat it until you have it, or practice your left and right hands separately. Courses start with hand position and basic rhythm, then work up to chords and theory.
