HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Local celebrities will once again take the stage at the Alhambra Theatre on Saturday, February 6, 2027, to compete in the sixth Dancing with Our Stars competition, presented by Hughart, Beard & Giles.
Money is raised leading up to the event as community members cast their “vote” for their favorite team. Each dollar donated counts as a vote, with the overall competition winners named from a combination of dance scores and dollars raised. Online donations will once again be available with one team named a winner with the “Online Fan Favorite” award. Follow the Dancing With Our Stars Facebook page to learn who will be dancing in the February 6 competition.
Tickets will go on sale on Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. and will be available exclusively through online ticketing at pennyroyalarts.org. Sponsorships to support the event and special viewing opportunities in the Alhambra Theatre are available.
Proceeds from the event and the funds raised during the dancing festivities will support the missions of both the Pennyroyal Arts Council and Sanctuary, Inc.
“We’re excited to welcome the community back for one of the most anticipated events of the year,” said Margaret Prim, Executive Director of the Pennyroyal Arts Council. “Dancing With Our Stars is a wonderful celebration of local talent, community spirit, and the important work our organizations do every day.”

We are incredibly grateful to our dancers, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who make it possible while helping raise awareness and support for the services provided by Sanctuary and the Pennyroyal Arts Council.”
The Dancing With Our Stars event has raised over $300,000 in its past performances. Organizers are hoping to meet the same level of success as past year’s to support the two organizations’ missions benefitting from the event. The Dancing With Our Stars event has previously been a sold-out crowd, so organizers encourage ticket purchases to be made as soon as they go live on November 16. Organizers are excited to offer the live stream opportunity for those who want to participate but can’t make it to the show this year.
