HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A longtime supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of Hopkinsville-Christian County is matching donations to the club in honor of Giving Tuesday.
A news release from the club says Sue Badgett is working with the club to host an online campaign with the goal of making a “World of Difference” in the lives of local kids. Badgett has promised to match the first $10,000 in donations to the campaign.
“We are immensely grateful for the incredible generosity of Sue Badgett,” BGCHCC Executive Director, Terrence Davis said. “Mrs. Badgett’s gift provides the Club with another opportunity to make a meaningful impact to the youth we serve. The world is complicated, but helping kids is simple.”
The fundraising campaign is launching Nov. 28. People can donate through Dec. 3 by calling the Club, dropping off the donation in person, or on the Boys & Girls Club of Hopkinsville-Christian County donation website.
Donations will allow the Club to continue serving the hundreds of local youth with their high impact after school activities, tutoring, meals, and more.
