HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Enjoy an eclipse kickoff party at Casey Jones Distillery, or balance your inner chi at a fun yoga event with goats! Plus, don’t forget the solar eclipse is on Monday, and participants can watch at the Hopkinsville’s Visitor Center with fun activities.
Eclipse Kickoff: Casey Jones Distillery, 2815 Witty Lane is releasing their first single barrel total eclipse cask. There will be free live music, and a local food truck. The free event is Friday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Goat Yoga: Balance Yoga Studio, 114 Navaho Trail is offering a beginner friendly yoga class. Guests can expect goats to run around and play all while being instructed by a certified yoga instructor. This fun event will be Saturday, April 7 at 11 a.m. It is $35 to attend.
Eclipse Watch Party: The community is invited to gather at the Hopkinsville Visitor’s Center, 1730 East 9 Street, Monday, April 8 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. for fun activities and to view the eclipse with friends. Free admission. Eclipse glasses are $1.
