HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – This year’s 400-mile yard sale is just weeks away, which expands across the width of Kentucky for a weekend of deals, exploration and unique finds along Highway 68. In previous years, there were dozens of registered sites throughout Christian County selling home goods, antiques, clothing, arts and crafts, furniture, and more.
The sale will be June 4-7 spanning across the commonwealth starting in the Lakes, stretching to the Pennyrile, South Central, Bluegrass and North Kentucky regions. Christian County is one of the central stops with sales traveling through from Russellville to Elkton, and then on through Cadiz.

During this four-day period between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., dedicated travelers and road trippers are encouraged to map out their routes to hit as many spots as possible along the stretch of highway, with the 400-Mile Sale website providing information about lodging and places to visit in each county.
As of May 5, there are just over a dozen sales mapped out for Hopkinsville. Each location is entered onto the website and discloses what items will be found there. Anyone with items for sale is able to register their site, whether it is a barn sale, yard sale, estate sale or roadside stand.
In Hopkinsville, the Christian County Animal Shelter will be hosting their Dog Days of Summer event to coincide with the sale. There will be vendors, food and the chance to engage with shelter animals.
