HOPKINSVILLE, KY – A portion of the Hopkinsville Greenway System will temporarily close beginning Thursday, Oct. 8, while a contractor completes repairs to the trail bridge over Cox Mill Road.
The closure will include the bridge and a small section of the trail on either side of the bridge to allow crews to safely complete the work. Repairs are expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 9, weather permitting.
All other portions of the Rail Trail will remain open and available for public use during the project.
Trail users are asked to avoid the closed section and use caution near the work area. The City of Hopkinsville appreciates the public’s patience while these repairs are completed.
