HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – After reopening on April 29, the Christian County Welcome Center off of I-24 in Oak Grove is closed again.

As of May 6, they facility is temporarily closed while the plumbing inside and round the facility is inspected, according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Department. The parking lot at the rest area will remain open for passenger cars and large vehicles, but the bathroom facility is closed until further notice.

Previously, the entire rest stop was closed to the public for most of April as they worked on major upgrades to their drainage system.
