HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A large section of South Clay Street in downtown Hopkinsville will be closed next week for paving.
A contractor of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will begin work on May 20, depending on the weather. The closure will start at East Fourth Street, and extend to Ninth Street, according to a news release from KYTC.
Crews will be laying down a new layer of asphalt, and the project is expected to be completed within two days. Drivers are advised to expect delays and seek alternate routes.
