HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Head over the library for their massive book sale, bring your kids to Christian Way Farms for a splash day, check out some classic cars or jump over to the rodeo this weekend in Christian County!
Christian County- Hopkinsville Public Library book sale: Bring a bag and fill it up with books and movies for only $5! The three day sale is between Aug. 15-16 from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. and from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 17. Cash and card will be accepted.
The 25th Annual Christian County Cattleman’s Rodeo: The rodeo is riding into town at the Western Kentucky Fairgrounds in Hopkinsville for two nights of fun. Aug. 16 and 17 will be packed full of riding, roping, and wrestling beginning on 7:30 p.m. both days. Tickets can be purchased at the gate, $20 for adult and $12 for kids, three and under are free.
Splash Day at Christian Way Farm: Splish splash fun day at Christian Way in Hopkinsville! Each summer, they offer a water day at Christian Way. They will have a giant water slide on-site on Aug. 17 from 10 AM – 6 PM. Enjoy bubble stations, kiddie pools and more water fun to keep kids of all ages entertained and cool all day! Located at 19590 Linville Road in Hopkinsville. This special day is included with regular farm or farm and mini golf combo admission.
2024 August Cruise in at Trail of Tears: Come to see some unique cars, have fun, eat, and win door prizes at the Trail of Tears Commemorative Park in Hopkinsville from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
