HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Police Department has charged two people with drug trafficking after a large amount of methamphetamine was found in a residence.
The arrest occurred on Aug. 28 at West Edmunds Street in Hopkinsville, according to a news release from HPD. Members of the department’s Special Investigations Unit, Crime Suppression Unit and Patrol Units, conducted an investigation which resulted in a search warrant being issued for the residence.
During the search, a significant amount of methamphetamine and two firearms were found. The man and woman at the residence were arrested and charged for trafficking.
