HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – This year’s Christian County 4-H Bail Trail consists of truly inspired hay masterpieces scattered throughout Hopkinsville and the county to help ring in fall.
This is the fifth year the Christian County 4-H Club has organized this friendly seasonal competition which allows businesses and individuals to display and create fun designs out of hay bales. The registration fees for the trail all directly benefited the club to help fun their projects and activities.
The displays range in size and theme, with a fun sitcom reference out on some farmland, an adorable collection of minions at the Christian County Health Department, and a batter capital tribute at Visit Hopkinsville.
The 4-H club also participated with an impressive, massive tractor creation outside of Christian County High School that won them this year’s People’s Choice Award. Mary Anne Garnett with 4-H Youth Development said this display was the result of a lot of hard work and collaboration from multiple students.
The Christian County Extension Office has released a map of these displays so people can drive around the trail and check out 12 creations.
