HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man in Hopkinsville has come forward after winning $50,000 in the Nov. 4 Kentucky Lottery Powerball drawing. According to the Kentucky Lottery website, the odds of winning that amount were one in 913,129.
The ticket was purchased Tuesday afternoon at Casey’s on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville, the identity of the winner is currently unknown. An employee confirmed that the winnings were claimed in store by a man on Nov. 5 along with a Kentucky Lottery representative.
6-18-33-48-53 were the winning numbers during Tuesday’s drawing with the Powerball number of 21. The next chance to win is Nov. 6, with a jackpot of $75 million.
