HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – An 18-year-old is being charged with drug trafficking after an attempted THC vape transaction with a juvenile resulted in an altercation and car accident.

Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office first engaged with the suspect when they responded to a single vehicle collision at Dollar General on Madisonville Road in Christian County. The suspect was driving the vehicle involved in the wreck with a juvenile passenger, according to a news release from CCSO.

An investigation revealed that the suspect had arranged to exchange $1,160 for 83 THC vape pens with the passenger.
