HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Sunday, two people exchanged gunfire in the parking lot of Aspen Meadows Apartments on Denzil Drive. Damage from the bullets was found on a front window and door of an apartment.
According to HPD, the motive for the altercation is not currently known. Shortly after the shots were fired, an individual walked into Jennie Stuart Hospital with a gunshot wound, with his address listed for the apartment building where the shooting occurred. No arrests have been made.
Officer Royale Marfil with HPD said detectives have interviewed several individuals in reference to the incident. It is an ongoing investigation, and no further information is available.
