OAK GROVE, KY – Officers from the Oak Grove Police Department, in collaboration with the Fairborn Police Department, located a suspect in Oak Grove who was wanted for a double homicide in Fairborn, Ohio.
At approximately 11:00 a.m. on June 11, investigators with the Fairborn Police Department contacted Oak Grove PD to request assistance in taking the suspect into custody. They were able to track the suspect to an address on Zachary Street.
Officers in Oak Grove observed a vehicle operated by the suspect and identified the home where he was located. They surrounded the home and successfully persuaded the suspect to surrender peacefully. Additionally, they assisted the Fairborn Police Department in securing evidence related to the homicide investigation, which was transported by the suspect.
The arrested individual, 38-year-old Brandon Peters of Fairborn, Ohio, was taken into custody as a fugitive from justice and is awaiting extradition to Ohio.
