HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Art Guild will be hosting their Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 21-22 with a variety of festive and original local art for sale. The non-profit is a visual arts organization that serves the Christian County area, supporting local artists through education, public galleries, workshops, and online sales of various works.
Between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, people can visit the War Memorial Building in Hopkinsville and explore the work of nearly 40 local artists. Original artwork will be available for purchase along with art demonstrations throughout the day.
Works of art from various mediums will be available, perfect for gifting this holiday season. This includes woodworks, landscape paintings, watercolors, glassworks, pottery, photography and more. Find a full list of participating artists on the Hopkinsville Art Guild website.
Participants can register ahead of time for a Crafting After Hours project, where people can create their own door decorations from recycled materials, or use watercolor paints on note cards.
