HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The discovery of fentanyl, marijuana, and other narcotics led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man, who is facing seven drug related charges and endangerment of a minor.
On Nov. 25 around 3 p.m., the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit, with support from detectives and the patrol division, executed a search warrant on Cates Street. Evidence found in the residence where at least one minor was present include narcotics, a gun, a large amount of cash, and other items related to drug trafficking resulted in the arrest of 23-year-old Eric Blaine of Hopkinsville.
Blaine was transported to the Christian County Jail and facing the following charges.
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)
- Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree
- Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Endangering the Welfare of a Minor
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
