Mike Goode – Bowling Coach

A lifelong resident of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Goode is a 1985 graduate of Hopkinsville High School and a 1988 graduate of Hopkinsville Community College. He most recently served as the head high school bowling coach for both high schools, a role he has held for the past two years after spending two seasons as an assistant coach during the program’s inaugural years. Bowling has been a central part of his life since the age of nine, when his father introduced him to the sport. He competed in youth and junior leagues before advancing to adult leagues and later spent 34 years working at Ebonite International in Hopkinsville, where he had the opportunity to learn from some of the sport’s top professional bowlers.

“It has been an incredible honor to serve our student-athletes over the past four years,” said Coach Goode. “Coaching allows me not only to share my knowledge and passion for bowling, but also to mentor young men and women as they grow both on and off the lanes. I am committed to helping them develop confidence, discipline, and life skills that will benefit them far beyond the sport.”

Keith Marquess – Swim Coach

Keith Marquess has been named head coach of the CCHS Tigers swim program. She began coaching as a volunteer under Jim Rogers and later worked alongside Rick Cohn, earning multiple Region and State Coach of the Year honors for both boys and girls swimming. Alongside her husband, Chuck, she has also dedicated countless hours to maintaining facilities for student-athletes. Marquess holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Murray State University and brings a deep passion for developing student-athletes in and out of the pool.

“I’m honored to lead the next generation of swimmers at the new CCHS,”said Coach Keith Marquess. “Coaching students has always been a true joy, and being part of bringing together two programs is exciting. I look forward to guiding our swimmers and building our two teams into a strong, unified program.”
