HOPKINSVILLE, KY – A No Kings protest will be held outside of the Christian County Justice Center in Hopkinsville as part of the nationwide movement. On March 28 hundreds of rallies are planned throughout the country including the nearby cities of Madisonville, Paducah, Central City and Clarksville, Tennessee.
The peaceful protest will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on sidewalk of 100 Justice Way near the bridge. The volunteer organizing Hopkinsville’s rally is not listed.
In June of 2025, dozens of people arrived for the first protest at the same location in Hopkinsville. People conveyed the “No Kings” message with signs and flags, garnering support and criticism from cars passing by. People from across the region attended, with one counter protester located across the street.
“In June, we did what many claimed was impossible: peacefully mobilized millions of people to take to the streets and declare with one voice, America has No Kings. And it mattered,” says the No Kings website. A second day of protests was held in October where over seven million people joined more than 2,700 events in all 50 states.
Organizers across the country include a broad coalition of groups such as the ACLU, American Federation of Teachers, Common Defense, 50501, Human Rights Campaign, Indivisible, League of Conservation Voters, MoveOn, National Nurses United, Public Citizen, and SEIU.
