HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A burglary that occurred in December 2023 sparked an investigation that has led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man on Thursday.
According to a press release from Christian County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the City Salvage building on Greenville Road in Hopkinsville on Dec. 18 in responce to a possible burglary. Witnesses say they saw a Mustang at the business dropping off a pair of individuals. Security footage showed two individuals running past the building when deputies were called. Officers attempted to locate the suspects but could not find them.
The vehicle of the suspects was left at the salvage building, and police say items in the vehicle led to the identity of the suspect and warrants were sought. On Thursday, the suspect was apprehended in Montgomery County, and taken to Christian County Jail where the warrant was served.
