CROFTON, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Two suspects were arrested after deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office located several narcotics and drug paraphernalia in their Crofton home on Dawson Road.
Deputies were attempting to locate a subject with a warrant when they arrived at the home, according to a press release from CCSO. During a sweep of the house, officers observed possible narcotics and drug paraphernalia in plain view inside. A search warrant was obtained for the home, and methamphetamine was found in the first suspects bedroom. Police say the amount of methamphetamine was consistent with trafficking and not personal use.
The suspect’s 62-year-old father, who had several active warrants, was also in the home. Deputies arrested him for the warrants, and his son was arrested for the drugs. He is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both suspects were transported to Christian County Jail.
