HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – On Friday, March 1, Hopkinsville Police arrested a man after finding money, a gun, one pound of crystal methamphetamine, 63 grams of cocaine, 43 grams of marijuana and 15 grams of fentanyl in his possession.

An investigation, led by Hopkinsville Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, resulted in search warrants of two Hopkinsville residences, according to a news release from HPD. Police proceeded to search a residence on Braden Street and Colonette Drive where the drugs, and a large sum of money consistent with drug trafficking, were found.

The suspect was also holding a large amount of money on his person, according to the arrest report. The individual is facing four charges including drug trafficking and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. The DEA and ATF assisted Hopkinsville Police throughout the investigation.
