HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Christian County deputies joined forces with Hopkinsville Police officers to apprehend a 37- year man with seven outstanding warrants.
On March 4 around 3:30 p.m., law enforcement surrounded a residence on Edmunds Street and asked for the suspect’s surrender, according to a news release from CCSO. The suspect had a history of fleeing and evading police and had a previous conviction for burglary and a persistent felony offender charge.
A K9 deputy named Stallon was able to enter the home through the front door and apprehended the suspect. In addition to his existing warrants, the suspect is facing an additional charge of resisting arrest. He was taken to Christian County Jail after being medically cleared.
“This incident demonstrates the collaborative efforts of the Christian County Sheriff’s Office and the Hopkinsville Police Department to apprehend individuals with outstanding warrants and prioritize public safety,” said the news release from the Sheriff’s Office.
