CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Motorists traveling I-169 in Christian County should anticipate periodic rolling roadblocks near the Exit 11 project today and tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 27.

These temporary delays are necessary to allow for the removal of bridge barriers in the project area. There is no set time for these rolling roadblocks, which will impact both north and southbound traffic.

The Exit 11 project is updating the Pennyrile Parkway’s old cloverleaf-style ramp design to a modern, interstate-standard diamond interchange that includes longer acceleration and deceleration lanes.

This work was required as part of the process of upgrading the Pennyrile Parkways to Interstate 169.
