HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Salvation Army of Hopkinsville is opening its new Life Navigation Hub, a space dedicated to offering street-level engagement for people who are unhoused. Through the program, individuals receive essential resources, build relationships of trust and belonging, and craft personalized plans for achieving their goals.

The hub stems from the Salvation Army’s LIFNAV coaching program, that guides people on the path to rehousing, according to a press release from Salvation Army.  The Life Navigation Hub will serve as a beacon of hope an assistance for those in need throughout Christian, Todd and Trigg counties.

“The opening of our new LIFNAV Community Hub represents a significant milestone in our mission to serve the community,” said Lieutenant Lindsey Galabeas, Salvation Army Corps Officer in Hopkinsville. “This space will provide essential support and resources to individuals and families, empowering them to overcome challenges and thrive. We are grateful for the opportunity to expand our impact and continue making a difference in the lives of those we serve.”

The grand opening and ribbon cutting will take place on May 13, at 10 a.m. at 313 East Seventh Street. Local Salvation Army officers, government officials and more will speak about the LIFNAV program. Refreshment will be provided at the end.
