HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – An unknown suspect caused property damage to a home at Whitney Place in Hopkinsville by firing a gun. The shooting was reported by a resident on Jan. 10 around 2 a.m.
According to Hopkinsville Police, damage was done to the bathroom window and wall as well as a hallway door. Seven shell casings were located near the reported area. Damage to the residence totaled around $500 in repairs.
HPD says the unknown suspect wantonly engaged in conduct which created a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another person. If arrested, the suspect could face a charge for wanton endangerment by discharging a firearm, and criminal mischief.
