CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – On Sept. 10 at 3:25 a.m. deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 11000 block of Madisonville Road in Crofton in response to a crash.
According to CCSO Public Information Officer John Godsey, the car was traveling southbound on the road when the driver fell asleep, causing it to run off the road and drive into a ditch.
The driver was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to meet with a helicopter that transferred him to a Nashville hospital for severe, but non-life-threatening leg and foot injuries.
