HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Police have seen several vehicle thefts over the weekend and are asking people to check their security footage.
Residents are asked to check video from:
- Friday night, June 5, through early Saturday morning, June 6.
- Saturday night, June 6, through early Sunday morning, June 7.
“We are particularly interested in any footage showing suspicious activity, including possible groups of juveniles or young adult males wearing hoodies,” Hopkinsville Police reported. “However, any unusual or suspicious activity during these timeframes could be valuable to our investigation.”
If you discover anything on your surveillance footage, please contact ECC Hopkinsville-Christian County at 270-890-1300. “An officer will review the footage to determine whether it may have evidentiary value,” HPD said. “Your assistance can make a difference in helping us identify those responsible and prevent future crimes.”
Residents are reminded to lock vehicles, remove all valuables, and never leave keys or key fobs inside unattended vehicles.
