HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Tiffany Gray has been selected as principal for South Christian Elementary School in a decision made by Christian County Public Schools on Wednesday.

“We are pleased to welcome Ms. Gray as principal of South Christian Elementary,” said Superintendent Chris Bentzel. “Ms. Gray brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and familiarity with the school into her new role. Her commitment to excellence and passion for education will help South Christian continue to thrive and inspire students and staff to reach their fullest potential.”

Gray has most recently served as the school’s assistant principal and began her career with CCPS as a substitute teacher and bus driver. In 2007, after earning her degree, she began teaching fourth grade math at South Christian Elementary and served as the school’s Math Interventionist. Gray also worked as an Instructional and Behavior Coach for three years before becoming an Education Administration Program Consultant I with the Kentucky Department of Education.

“I am humbled, grateful, and ready to be the next Principal of South Christian Elementary School, ” said Gray.  “South Christian is home to me, the place where I started my educational journey, and where my own children, Kenady and Jaylen, attended elementary school. I am more than excited for the opportunity to lead a great staff and student population and I am looking forward to continuing the great traditions with all the wonderful people around me.”

Gray holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, an endorsement in Gifted and Talented and earned her Rank 1 in administration from Murray State University. She and her husband, Bryan, reside in Hopkinsville and have a son, Jaylen, and daughter Kenady.
